A short time after issuing a "critical missing" alert on Monday evening, Dallas police said 16-year-old Alyssa Williams had been found.

Alyssa had last been seen around 2 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Old South Parkway, near the intersection of C.F. Hawn Freeway and Elam Road in Southeast Dallas.

Investigators were especially concerned because she suffers from bipolar disorder and has the mental capacity of a nine-year-old child.

No additional information about her recovery was available.
