FORT WORTH — There's a new landmark in downtown Fort Worth. The new Phyllis J. Tilley Memorial Bridge opened on Saturday.

The pedestrian crossing over the Trinity River is open to all trail users for walking, running and cycling.

You'll find it in the Trinity Park just south of the Lancaster Avenue Bridge.

The unique design makes it the first bridge of its kind that relies on cables in the deck and an arch for support.
