DALLAS – About two weeks after being added to the state's most wanted fugitives list, Crips gang member Rickey Lynn Johnson has been arrested.

Department of Public Safety officers arrested Johnson at the Villa Del Sol apartments, located in southeast Dallas on Antoinette St. near U.S. 175. According to the DPS website, a person submitted a tip to Crime Stoppers that Johnson would be nearby.

Johnson, who was wanted for violating his parole, was spotted walking with Lavota Evonne Yarbrough, who was also arrested for having "numerous misdemeanor warrants" out of the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.

Both are jailed in the Dallas County Sheriff's Department Correctional Facility. Johnson, 31, has numerous convictions for drug possession and was caught in 2003 selling cocaine to an undercover police officer.

DPS says it also paid $7,500 to the tipster.
