ARLINGTON -- At least one person was shot dead and another was stabbed Thursday afternoon at an Arlington residence.
Police were responding to the stabbing call around 5:00 p.m. in the 300 block of Roberts Circle. While on the way, an update came in that shots were fired at the location.
Police found a man in his early 20's was dead in the front yard from apparent gunshot wounds. The other male, also in his 20's, was found with stab wounds at the end of the street. The stabbed person's condition is unclear at this time.
Police said it was too early in the investigation to say what exactly happened or the motive. Homicide investigators are on scene.
They don't believe any suspects involved in the incident are at large.
The men have not been identified.
