ARLINGTON — Police said one motorist was killed and another was injured in an early morning collision.

According to investigators, one vehicle ran a stop sign at the intersection of Arbrook Boulevard and Allen Avenue around 3:30 a.m., hitting a second car.

The driver of the car that ran the stop sign, identified as 37-year-old Lee Overstreet of Arlington, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Medical Center of Arlington for treatment of what police called non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they were investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the fatal crash.
