DALLAS -- The roll out of the Affordable Care Act has not been smooth, but this week the Obama administration hopes to point out the successes of the process by spotlighting a local organization.

Temple Emanu-El is preparing to host President Obama on Wednesday. He is highlighting the work of Dallas Area Interfaith.

Leaders of different religions have made it their mission to inform their congregation’s about the Affordable Care Act.

“For us, I think that the president is coming to Temple Emanu-El to highlight the work of, not only Temple Emanu-El, but all of the faith organizations that are working together to make the world a better place,” said Rabbi Asher Knight of Temple Emanu-El.

The specifics of the visit are still unknown. We know the president will meet at the temple with other religious leaders, and the meeting will not be open to the public.

President Obama is scheduled to arrive Wednesday afternoon and depart Wednesday night.
