A seven-year-old boy was reported in critical but stable condition Sunday night after he was found floating face-down in an apartment swimming pool.

Fort Worth Fire Department spokesman Timothy Hardeman said an emergency call was received shortly before five o'clock from the Falcon Ridge Apartments in the 5400 block of Falcon Ridge Drive.

Donald Wright was found unconscious in the water in a fenced swimming pool area.

Firefighters were told that Donald and his twin brother had been playing outside when he managed to enter the pool. A neighbor was said to have seen the boy in the water and pulled him out.

It was not known how long the child was in the water, Hardeman said.

Donald's father, Ray Soders, asked for prayers for his son and family, and offered thanks to paramedics and firefighters, Hardeman added.
