FORT WORTH — One motorist was killed and another was injured early Sunday when they were hit by a vehicle along Fort Worth's South Freeway.
Police said the two victims had been involved in a crash on the service road at East Seminary Drive around 3:30 a.m.
But when they got out of their vehicles to examine the damage, they were struck by a third vehicle.
Jose Solis, 19, died at the scene. A second man was taken to a hospital for treatment; his condition was not available.
The cause of the initial crash and the subsequent fatal accident remained under investigation.
