PLANO – Patricia Hallstead, the missing 58-year-old woman Plano police searched for over the weekend, was found dead on Monday. Her body was in a parked car at a hotel parking lot.
The cause of death is under investigation.
Hallstead disappeared on December 8. She left a home in the 6900 block of Rochelle Drive and was not seen again.
While Plano police issued a missing persons alert, her case did not qualify as a Silver Alert. In order for it to be issued, the missing person must suffer from a cognitive impairment.
