FORT WORTH — There's a mass H1N1 flu vaccination clinic Thursday in Fort Worth.

It's at the Resource Connection Gymnasium at 1200 Circle Drive. Doors are open from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m.

Tarrant County health officials said they have 14,000 doses available to administer.

The county's initial mass vaccination clinic drew huge lines, and many who wanted to get a shot were turned away because they either were not part of a high-risk group or did not have proof of residence.

Only a handful of people were waiting at 6:30 a.m.

Shots on Thursday will be made available to:

  • caregivers
  • health care workers
  • pregnant women
  • those between six months and 24 years old
  • people between 25-64 with health conditions

The swine flu vaccine will also be available at the county's seven public health centers starting Friday.

Tarrant County has reported eight deaths linked to the H1N1 virus.
