Bodies found in apartment
ARLINGTON - The bodies of a man and woman were found inside an apartment early Tuesday morning in the 2700 block of Indian Creek in Arlington.
Authorities found the pair dead while doing a welfare check at the residence. Police said both victims had visible gun shot wounds and detectives are investigating the possibility that they died in a murder and suicide.
A spokesman with the Arlington Police Department said relatives of an 18-year-old woman became concerned when she didn't pick up her child Monday night. The relatives called authorities, which led to the welfare check at the residence.
Police said they received a report of shots fired in the area around 10 p.m. Monday and are investigating any possible connection to the deaths.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
