Apartment gunfire
DALLAS — Dallas police are looking for the person who shot a man in Oak Lawn early Saturday morning.
Police said the 37-year-old victim was talking with friends in the courtyard of the Cedar Springs apartments in the 2800 block of Hawthorne Avenue when he was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant around 12:30 a.m.
The victim, identified as Andre Wallace of Dallas in a police report, was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital for treatment. His condition was not available at mid-morning Saturday.
Witnesses said the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, but were unable to provide a description.
