North Richland Hills restaurant shooting
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — The man who was shot and killed at a North Richland Hills restaurant on Tuesday afternoon has now been identified in what police are calling a case of workplace violence.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office said the murder victim is 55-year-old Shee Wong.
North Richland Hills police Investigator Keith Bauman said Wong and another employee at the Hunan Wok restaurant at 5142 Rufe Snow Drive were shot by a man who walked into the kitchen of the establishment around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Police have connected a vehicle that was found in flames at Benbrook Lake Tuesday evening with the crime. An injured man next to the car was airlifted to the Parkland Memorial Hospital burn unit in Dallas. His condition was not available.
Bauman said detectives are working to confirm the identity of the man in the hospital as a "person of interest" in this case.
