CEDAR HILL - Police detained a man Friday morning at a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises."
Sources tell News 8 the man was acting suspiciously and asking where the exit doors were. He was also carrying a handgun, which he was licensed to carry.
Police say the man told others at the theater he had been hired to do private security. He is reportedly a private detective.
Police are on high alert for copycats and vigilantes looking for trouble.
The Dallas FBI sent information about the incident to area law enforcement agencies. The man was not arrested, but was questioned.
