DALLAS - A crowd of several hundred people gathered at a South Dallas murder scene Tuesday, hours after what police are calling a double homicide.
Dallas police investigators have been on the scene in the 3400 block of Frosty Trail since 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Detectives are not saying much at this point, except two men are dead.
Earlier Tuesday, a witness went to the house and found both victims lying in a front room, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
The men have not been identified. Homicide detectives are still collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.
Neighbors tell News 8 the two men who died were well known in the Dallas neighborhood, which they say accounts for why such a large crowd of people gathered. The crowd remained under control and dispersed at around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
