KELLER -- The Keller School District Board of Trustees could make a decision Monday about one of its board members.

Jo Lynn Haussmann posted an anti-Muslim remark on social media, quickly took it down and then apologized.

On Monday trustees will consider possible action, such as censure, against Haussmann. The board plans to meet in an executive session - meaning the public won't be able to hear the discussion.

Haussmann used Facebook to air her displeasure with voters over last month's city council election in Southlake.

"Do you realize because so FEW voters took the time and responsibility to VOTE in municipal elections -- YOU NOW HAVE A "MUSLIM" on the City Council!!! What a SHAME!!!!!" she wrote.

Since that message was posted, many have called for her resignation.

Keller ISD’s Board of Trustees has scheduled their meeting to discuss the matter for 6:30 p.m.

Other Keller School Board trustees said they were disheartened and highly offended by what Haussmann wrote.
