DALLAS - Longtime KXAS-TV anchor Jane McGarry has resigned.
According to her Facebook page, McGarry plead no contest to Driving While Intoxicated.
In May, she was arrested in the early morning hours for drunk driving along the Dallas North Tollway. McGarry said her blood alcohol level was .11 at the time of the arrest, which is above the legal limit of .08.
She has been off the air since the incident this spring.
