Mauricio Busso, the Irving man injured Friday night when his mobile home exploded, succumbed to his injuries at 2:50 a.m. Saturday at Parkland Memorial Hospital, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Neighbors told investigators that Busso, 29, might have been painting before the explosion, which was reported about 6:45 p.m.

Assistant Fire Chief Rusty Wilson said Atmos Energy employees found no evidence of a leak in the natural gas line leading to the man's trailer. After debris was cleared from the trailer, which had one wall completely blown out, Wilson said investigators found containers that might have contained flammable liquid.
