Funeral services were held in Hood County Saturday for an infamous Texas con man.
Billie Sol Estes died Tuesday at his home in Hood County. He was 88.
The colorful 1960s swindler and one-time business associate of Lyndon Johnson was known across the country for his Texas-sized schemes.
He was practically the poster boy for greed and corruption — and it landed him behind bars a few times.
Estes' funeral took place Saturday afternoon at Acton United Methodist Church. He is survived by his second wife, Dorris, and five children.
