Oncor crews are ready to move into action as icy weather sweeps across North Texas.

The company, which delivers electric power to three million Texas homes and businesses, is keeping a close watch on two potential problems.

Winds on Tuesday are expected to be between 20 and 30 mph, which could cause line damage.

The weight of ice and snow on cables and tree limbs could also lead to service interruptions.

Oncor has additional crews ready for both issues. Consumers can call the company's hotline at 888-313-4747 to report a power outage.
