DALLAS — The economic downturn hit hard in many families, and Dallas' primary homeless resource — The Bridge — has the numbers to prove it.
The Bridge currently provides services to more than 1,700 people a month; that is 500 more than at the same time last year.
More than 60 percent of the facilities added clients say they have recently become homeless.
