DALLAS — Balloons and bands filled the streets of downtown Dallas Saturday morning as unseasonably warm weather beckoned crowds for the Children's Medical Center Holiday Parade.
More than 350,000 were expected to attend.
Street closures began at 6:30 a.m. Visitors who are driving can find parking at Central Parking, Star Parking or Platinum Parking lots, and also at the Texas Club garage. Parking rates are set at $10.
The parade begins in front of City Hall, cuts in front of Founders Square and finishes near the Adolphus Hotel. It begins at 10 a.m. View parade route map (pdf).
The parade is broadcast live on WFAA Channel 8 and will be seen on other television stations around the U.S.
