Heat making fast over immigration rights difficult for high school students

The heat is making it tough for some North Texas students trying to make a point.

Medical staff are on hand to monitor about 15 high school and college students doing a three-day fast in downtown Dallas.

They are trying to bring attention to the Dream Act.

It's legislation that would give some illegal immigrant students the opportunity at permanent residency.
