Head-on crash
RANDOLPH, Texas — Two Allen residents died Tuesday afternoon after a head-on crash in Fannin County.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said 62-year-old Sharon Williams of Whitewright was traveling south on Highway 121 about a half-mile south of Highway 11 when her 2012 Honda crossed into the northbound lane around 3:30 p.m.
Her car struck a northbound 2004 Honda with five occupants.
Two passengers in that vehicle — 45-year-old Reena Daniel and 14-year-old Daniel Phillips — were pronounced dead at the scene.
Sara Phillips, 6, and Samuel Phillips, 11, were injured and taken to Children's Medical Center of Dallas for treatment.
The driver of that car, 47-year-old Johnny Phillips, suffered cuts and bruises and was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
Sharon Williams was listed in serious condition at Medical Center of Plano.
