Grapevine police Sgt. Phillip Woolery has been arrested on child pornography charges.

GRAPEVINE — In a brief statement issued Tuesday evening, the Grapevine Police Department confirmed that a veteran officer has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Sgt. Phillip Woolery, who has been with the department for 17 years, was placed on administrative leave.
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service arrested Woolery, and Grapevine police referred all other inquiries to that agency.
