Grand Prairie police asked for your help to find an elderly man on Sunday night... and they got it.

Bobby Brumfield, 74, signed out of the House of Hope Senior Care Center on Saturday night and failed to return.

He has early signs of dementia, which raised the concern of his caretakers.

News of Mr. Brumfield's disappearance was broadcast on the news at 10 o'clock.

"We received two calls after it aired that led us to a large field in our city," said Grand Prairie police spokesman Lyle Gensler in a written statement. "The missing person has been located, and is currently being taken back to the care facility."

Gensler chalked up the successful return to "the power of the media."
