CARROLLTON - The Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains has teamed up with Airborne Angel Cadets of Carrollton to ship 1,400 cases of Girl Scout Cookies to service men and women as part of Project Troop to Troop.

Scouts and volunteers were on hand Thursday morning to help move the cookies. Through Project Troop to Troop, customers may purchase additional packages of Girl Scout Cookies that will be delivered directly to members of the U.S. Armed forces.

Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains works with the military and non-profit organizations to deliver Girl Scout Cookies to service men and women. In 2009, over 29,000 packages of Girl Scout Cookies were delivered around the globe.
