Garland police issue alert for missing senior

Martin Estrada-Vega, 68, has been missing since 11 a.m. on April 29, 2013 in the 4100 block of Sweetbriar Drive in Garland. He suffers from dementia, family members said.

Garland police issued an alert Monday night for a missing 68-year-old man who is suffering from dementia.

Family members said Martin Estrada-Vega was last seen at 11 a.m. Monday in the 4100 block of Sweetbriar Drive, not far from the intersection of Buckingham Road and Plano Road.

Estrada-Vega was believed to be on foot.

He is described as Hispanic, 5'-4" tall, 130 lbs., with brown eyes, black hair and a mustache. Family members said he was wearing a red polo shirt, khaki pants, black tennis shoes and a black ball cap with the word "Sigma."
