PLANO — On Saturday, a community devastated by the death of a Plano teenager came together to remember her life.

We've told you about Micaela White and her battle with leukemia. She lost that battle earlier this week, and funeral services were Saturday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Community.

Micaela, 18, just graduated from Ursuline Academy in May. She had received a bone marrow transplant little more than a month ago after being diagnosed with leukemia before Christmas, 2010.

Friends say despite the illness attacking her body, she never stopped fighting or smiling.
