4 killed, 7 injured in head-on collision in Glen Rose

GLEN ROSE - A family trip turned tragic in North Texas after a crash in Glen Rose.

Four people were killed and seven others injured in the crash. Troopers say the driver of a sedan crossed into oncoming traffic on Highway 67 and hit a red van head-on.

Three adult passengers in the van - Mark, Darla and Wanda Burns - died and three teenage girls were transported to the hospital. The family was on their way to a family reunion.

In the sedan, one passenger was killed and four others were transported to nearby hospitals.

Glen Rose is located about 52 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
