DALLAS — Four people were killed early Saturday morning when a wrong-way vehicle collided with a pickup truck on U.S. 175 near Martin Luther King Boulevard in Dallas.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office said a Mazda sedan traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway crashed into the truck at around 4 a.m.
The three people in the car and the one person in the pickup were all killed.
The wrong-way driver was identified as Walter Williams, 58. The names of his two passengers were not available.
Officials identified the driver of the truck as Marcos Campos.
Based on witness statements, the sheriff's office was investigating the use of alcohol as a possible factor in the crash.
