FORT WORTH – Fort Worth police are searching for three men and a woman who attempted to rob and kidnap a man while he power-washed a Sonic parking lot Tuesday morning.

Department spokesman Officer Clifton Miller said three Hispanic men approached the victim at the Sonic fast food restaurant on 1800 West Berry at 12:55 a.m. They pulled guns and ordered the man to hand over the keys to his Toyota Titan truck, which had a trailer attached that contained his power washing equipment.

He gave one of the men his keys as a woman driving a white-two door car cruised up next to the group. The victim was told to get in the bed of his truck. Miller said the group then tried to force him into the trunk of the white car, but the man resisted.

Miller said he escaped with minor injuries, but the suspects fled in the car. Grainy surveillance footage captured it driving away; we’ve tried to tinker with the contrast and brightness to make it more visible.

His truck and the power washer were abandoned and later found at separate locations in Fort Worth and Forest Hill, Miller said.

One of the men is between 24 and 25 years old and is taller than six feet. Miller said he has tattoos on his face. The second man is younger and about five-foot-six-inches with a “bald head and a skinny build.”

There’s no description of the third man, Miller said. The female suspect is described as “heavy-set” with long hair. She wore pink Capri pants and a white blouse.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort Worth Police Department at 817.335.4222, Crime Stoppers at 817.469.8477 or the robbery unit at 817.392.4370. All tips are anonymous.
