DALLAS — Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price will not be getting back more than $229,000 in cash that was seized by federal investigators.

A judge denied a request by Price to delay the government's forfeiture case.

Federal agents took the money from a safe in the commissioner's Oak Cliff home last year. They also seized more than $230,000 earned from a land sale.

U.S. Attorneys accused Price of money laundering, bankruptcy fraud and bribery.

No charges have been filed.
