Fatal accident
GARLAND — The eastbound lanes of LBJ Freeway were shut down Saturday night after a fatal accident near Northwest Highway in Garland at around 10 p.m.
Investigators said a man fell from the back of a pickup truck and was then run over by several oncoming vehicles.
All four eastbound lanes of the highway were closed and traffic was being forced to exit at Garland Road while the accident was investigated.
