Lawyers for Lauren Scruggs say they have resolved issues with an insurance company as their client seeks compensation for the injury that took her left hand and eye.
Sruggs is the Plano fashion blogger walked into an airplane's propeller last December after she had taken a flight to see Christmas lights.
Scruggs and her father are suing the insurance company that covers the two planes the pilot owns.
The lawsuit hinges on the definition of "passenger." Attorneys for Scruggs argued that she was no longer a passenger since she had de-planed and returned.
Liability is limited to $100,000 per passenger from each of the policies.
Hightower Angelly LLP, representing the injured woman, filed a declaratory judgment action in Dallas county seeking interpretation of the insurance policy by the court.
The plantiff's lawyers and Aggressive Insurance Services LLP announced jointly Tuesday that they had resolved their differences.
Hightower Angelly said it would have no further comment on the agreement.
