DALLAS -- Dallas Wiens walked out of a Dallas small claims courtroom with no comment about what has become a nasty family and financial dispute.

It was just March 30 that Wiens happily married Jamie Nash, a burn victim he met in a support group. Weins made headlines in 2011 for receiving the nation's first full facial transplant.

Now, his new wife is being sued by Wiens' own brother.

David Wiens claims Nash owes him more than $4,000 for public relations services his company provided her.

When the media came calling after Dallas Weins' transplant, David Wiens initially handled requests for his brother. Jamie Nash signed a publicity contract, too.

But a falling out along the way and now a dispute over breach of contract and unpaid fees landed the Wiens in court Wednesday.

Now, a small claim may transform the dynamics of the once-supportive family as much as Weins' new face has.

Neither Dallas Wiens nor his brother wanted to comment on the pending case.

No decision was made in a court Wednesday. A trial date has not been set.
