DENTON — Snow was falling at a steady clip in Denton at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening. The further north we traveled in Denton County, the heavier the snow and the higher the accumulation.

Traffic was moving smoothly on Interstate 35E in spite of the weather conditions.

Slush was beginning to form on roads and sidewalks; that has the potential to cause slippery conditions for motorists later in the evening as the temperature hovers around the freezing mark.
