LITTLE ELM — Garry Rasco made a timely donation to Boy Scout Troop 861 on Saturday.

You may remember the Scouts' gear was stolen earlier this week from their Scoutmaster's yard.

The trailer was found, but all the camping equipment inside was gone.

Rasco said his garage in Little Elm was stuffed with tents, tarps and camping gear, so he decided to take action.

"Those boys — my heart went out to them," Rasco said. "It just really, really freaked me out to hear that somebody robbed Boy Scouts!"

Troop 861 plans to use the donated gear on their camping trip to Big Bend National Park. They leave on Sunday.
