ARLINGTON — Dozens of dead birds were found Tuesday at an Arlington intersection.

City workers collected at least 50 carcasses on East Pioneer Parkway between Sherry Street and Carter Street.

They were right below an electrical transmission line, but the birds did not appear to have been burned.

One was taken to a vet to determine how the birds died.
