DALLAS – Every day for the past decade, Bobby Jones has faithfully delivered mail to residents on the Disney streets in North Dallas.

"I know everybody's name," says Jones, with his usual smile. "I know the dog's name, I know the mother-in-law,  father-in-law name, I know everybody."

On this Friday, he's the one receiving packages, cards and hugs.

"My kids wait in the window until he comes to the front door," said resident Linda Devlin. "He sits with us and tells us stories of his life. And it's awesome."

After 10 years, Jones is leaving his route to peruse a career in non-profit work. On nearly every door in the neighborhood is a message of love and luck for a mail carrier who is more like a family member.

"I'm gonna cry," says Jimmy Langkop, "Because we love this guy. He knows every one of us. He takes time to know every person he delivers mail to. He is an ambassador of love."

"It's humbling," admits Jones.

Rarely would a change in the postman draw notice. But residents of the Disney streets say any man who can make receiving bills a good thing is indeed a prince who deserves a happy ending.
