Authorities say they have suspects, but have made no arrests in the case of a Cedar Hill teen who was found dead Friday afternoon.

Kamesha Hall, 18, was reported missing by her mother on October 28. She was a recent graduate of Cedar Hill High School.

A passerby found her body in a creek bed along Pentagon Parkway near Highway 67 in Dallas. It's unclear how long the body had been there.

The Dallas County medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide, but authorities have not said how she may have died.

The events have been a blow to the community, said Cedar Hill's public relations manager, Corky Brown.

"Even back when she was just a missing person it was sort of a big story here in our own community, because we're still pretty tightly knit," Brown said. "There was a lot of concern about it, and I know that they (the police) aggressively worked it as a missing person."

Brown said as of this morning, no arrests had been made.

"But there are suspects," he said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cedar Hill police at 972-291-5181.
