DALLAS — Bike Friendly Oak Cliff says it wants to raise money to add barricades to separate cars and cyclists on Dallas streets.

Cyclist Dallas Torres was seriously injured Saturday when his bike was struck by a car on the Jefferson Boulevard viaduct.

The advocacy group plans to meet with city leaders on Tuesday.

Dallas has been relying on donations to pay for new bike lanes that have been delayed by budget constraints.
