DALLAS — A pickup truck pulled into the path of a northbound DART light rail train on Monday afternoon, leading to delays on the Green and Orange lines.

The accident happened just after 2:30 p.m. at the Manor Way crossing, north of the Inwood/Love Field Station. The truck was hit near the driver-side door by the right front corner of the train.

DART spokesman Mark Ball said there were no injuries reported aboard the train. Passengers were transferred to another northbound train to complete their journeys.

The driver of the truck was cut on his arm from broken glass, and was treated at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue paramedics, Ball said.

DART said afternoon service on the Green and Orange lines would be affected as the wreckage was cleared, and regular service was restored by 4 o'clock.
