DFW AIRPORT — The long wait for a DART rail station at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is about to end.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit spent $150 million to extend the Orange Line to the airport. It will open to passengers on August 18 and travel to Irving and Dallas.

You'll find the new DART station at Terminal A; from there, it's a short walk to the concourse and connections to the other terminals.

According to our content partners at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, people in downtown Fort Worth will be able to take the train to the airport eventually.
