PLANO – Some parents of students at Hightower Elementary School have received a warning letter regarding whooping cough. The Collin County Health Department says someone there has it.
Officials won't say whether it's a student or a staff member. Most children are already vaccinated, but experts say it does not provide 100 percent immunity.
The department asks parents to be on the lookout for any symptoms.
