Grapevine police say a 25-year-old Colleyville Heritage High School music teacher has been jailed for sending sexually explicit text messages to a minor student.
Cody Ray Dickson, of Bedford, was arrested and charged with improper relationship between educator and student and online solicitation of a minor. He is being held on a $15,000 bond.
Grapevine Police Department Sgt. Robert Eberling said the 16-year-old boy’s father alerted authorities to the text messages.
Dickson was placed on leave from Colleyville Heritage High School on Friday after the accusations. He was arrested this week.
