ARLINGTON — The fight to keep gas well drilling out of an Arlington neighborhood may come down to a few feet.
Kim Field convinced some of her neighbors to drop their approval for a new gas well on Collins Street. Without 60 percent approval, Chesapeake Energy needs seven of nine City Council votes.
Now, Chesapeake will change its plan so the drill site is a few feet closer to businesses. Approval there would only require five Council votes.
