Bank holdup
CARROLLTON — A Carrollton supermarket was evacuated Friday night after a bank robber left a suspicious package behind.
The 9 p.m. holdup happened inside the Tom Thumb at Josey Lane and Hebron Parkway at a Wells Fargo bank branch.
An explosive ordnance disposal unit was called in to check the contents of the package. It did not pose a threat.
No description of the suspect was available late Friday.
