Boy walking across America for homeless awareness stops in Dallas

DALLAS - One out of 50 kids has been homeless at some point. That equals to about.5 million children.

According to the National Center on Family Homelessness, Texas ranks at the bottom of the list when it comes to addressing the problem, which concern has a young boy walking from Tampa, Florida to Los Angeles, California in hopes of highlighting the problem.

Zach Bonner, 12, said he got the idea for the walk after watching a documentary about a women who walked over 25,000 miles in honor of world peace.
