MESQUITE — A North Texas Boy Scout troop is asking for your help.

Troop 103 says its equipment trailer was stolen Sunday morning from the parking lot of Mimosa Lane Baptist Church in Mesquite.

The trailer held tents, cooking stoves, lanterns and ground covers for its camping trips.

Assistant Scout Master Danny Saenz said,

"We try to make it a point to take the boys about the third weekend of each month," said assistant scoutmaster Danny Saenz. "They enjoy it, we enjoy it."

Saenz said the trailer had locks and two chains that were cut away by the criminals.

If you have any information about the theft, call the Mesquite Police Department.

Scout trailers in North Richland Hills and Dallas have been pilfered in separate incidents over the past year.
